BOC Australia wins prestigious Manufacturer of the Year award

Melbourne, 13 July 2018: BOC Australia, a member of leading gases and engineering company The Linde Group, was presented with the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year Award and Safety Solution of the Year Award for its $15 million robot cylinder automation system at the Endeavour Awards held in Melbourne last night.

BOC was also recognised as a finalist in the Supply Chain Integration and Technology Application categories for its new $20 million specialty gases facility that has increased its capacity to produce and supply over 8,000 high purity and specialty gases to high value sectors in Australia and abroad.   

John Evans, BOC South Pacific Managing Director, said it is an honour to receive industry recognition for two significant investments completed at its Sydney Operations Centre, which were opened earlier this year.

It has almost eliminated the risk of manual handling injuries to our staff, while setting a new standard in safety across the global industrial gases industry.
